I studied Archaeology and History of Art (BA) (2005) and continued to pursue a MA in Classical Archaeology (2010) at the University of Athens. During my studies I cooperated with several Universities and Foreign Archaeological Schools in Greece, on various archaeological projects. After finishing my studies, I began working as a contract archaeologist for the Greek Ministry of Culture, in Crete.

My special interest in museology in combination with the world of digital applications led me to the University of the Aegean, where I pursued a MSc in Cultural Informatics, with expertise in Museology, for which I was awarded with a scholarship for highest scores (2019).

Currently I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, of the University of the Aegean. My research focuses ondesigning and creating an exhibition through collective procedures.

As a member of the Museology Laboratory “Museolab”, of the University of the Aegean, I work on exhibition projects and conduct research related to museums.
My research interests focus mainly on exhibition design, cultural communication, museums and communication, cultural heritage studies, modern architecture and GIS in cultural heritage.
