Curriculum Vitae :

Vicky Katsamaka graduated from the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, of the University of the Aegean. She also holds a MSc in Cultural Informatics, with expertise in Museology, from the same institution. Since 2015, she is an active member of the Museology Laboratory "Museolab ", working on exhibition design, implementation of exhibitions and graphic design projects.
During the period 2017-2019, she collaborated with the Museum – Library Teriade in Lesvos, working in educational programs, designed by the “Museolab” team.
In 2019, she began working as an academic researcher in the project "NARRATIVE: Integrated system for management and curation of digital content and production of personalized and collaborative narratives", at the University of the Aegean.
In parallel with her research activity, she was involved in the design and the illustration of a research epub and in 2020, she created the layout for two more editions.
Her passion for the exhibition design in combination with her research interests, results in her constant search for new concepts and ideas in the field of exhibitions.
One of her main beliefs is that the exhibition is an extremely interesting and dynamic multimedia tool with great influence on the public and thus she hopes that, with her educational background, she will be able to transform a common visit to a strong experience.
