Since 2009, she is responsible of the design and implementation of TCM’s educational programmes of all age groups and collaboration with schools and teachers. Within this context she has designed, based in the permanent collection of the Cinema Museum of Thessaloniki, a series of activities corresponding to preschool and elementary students. From 2015 to 2017 she was project manager in Greece of audiovisual European programme Euforia - European films for innovative Audience development. As project Manager of Euforia, she was in the person responsible for the educational material of the website Film Vault - selection and evaluation of Greek films, content management of the Greek films’ educational guides, worksheets, activities e.t.c.- and for the production of 24 short documentary student Greek films created in the context of the Euforia’s student digital film project. Since 2011, she is collaborating with the Directorate of Primary & Secondary Education for the organization of seminars for teachers, aiming to the introduction of the art of film in class, using the method of "Transformative Learning through Aesthetic Experience". She participates in Youth Screen and Docs For Kids programmes of TFF. In particular she is one of the members of the films selection team concerning the above sessions of the Festival. She is designing the educational material and the interactive activities of these screenings. From 2006 until 2013 she was a supervisor archaeologist in the Neolithic settlement of Dispilio Kastoria archaeological project, and the archaeological summer school “Anaskafiko didaskaleio”. She studied history and archaeology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the AUTH and has hold a MA degree in “History of Cultural Landscapes”. Since 2016, is a PhD candidate at the department of Cultural Technology and Communication, University of the Aegean. Her main research interests focus on the contribution of the TCM’s educational programmes and – by extension – of the film education activities to the emotional, aesthetic and cognitive development of children.
